Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time (daytime) Crisis Outreach Clinician for our Hannibal Missouri service area.  Consider joining our MTBH Team!  We offer a supportive culture of appreciation and a strong emphasis on the health and wellbeing of our team.


Role Responsibilities


  • Provide direct support for clinical crisis response and follow-up
  • Foster good working relations with local law enforcement, Emergency Rooms and various referral sources
  • Assess and manage suicide risk
  • This is primarily a day-time position with some after hour rotation responsibilities
  • Provide on-call crisis services in accordance with the essential duties and responsibilities of the Access Crisis Intervention (ACI) On-Call Worker job description
  • Collaborate with Community Mental Health Liaison, Access Crisis Intervention Program, Emergency Room Enhancement Program, Intake department and other specialized programs
  • Complete necessary documentation and maintain medical records in accordance with grant and state requirements
  • Other duties may be assigned


Adherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is required.


 Qualifications


  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
  • Licensed in the state of Missouri or licensed-eligible
  • Knowledge of alcohol and drug addictions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preferred
